School
High School in Australia begins at Year 7 – students are usually 13 years of age and continue until Year 12 (approx 17 years of age). The Australian education system ranks among the world’s best. Diverse subject-based field trips offer many opportunities for learning beyond the classroom.
Family
Australians are family orientated and enjoy an outdoor relaxed lifestyle. Some families live in modern urban apartments in cities or in suburban homes with large backyards. Although many Australians live tucked around the beautiful coastline others live in the outback or rural areas on farms (big and small) and enjoy a relaxed country lifestyle.
Weekends are spent socialising, watching and participating in sport or enjoying the outdoors. With an abundance of fresh food Aussies enjoy eating out in world-class restaurants and relaxed casual BBQs with family and friends.
